THE HAGUE (March 3, 2020) – ColoHouse has recently become a member of the Dutch Data Center Association (DDA).
The data center operator has 14 locations in 8 countries and has access to 40 internet exchanges. Their Dutch data center is located in The Hague. All ColoHouse locations comply with the strict auditing standards including SOC 2, and ISO 9001 and 27001.
Stijn Grove, Director of DDA: “We are very happy to welcome ColoHouse as a new member of our data center ecosystem. The larger data center hubs as we currently know them are very important to the digital economy. However, regional data centers are indispensable to the digital infrastructure and should be well represented by the industry. The Hague is an interesting location to mark for the future due to the challenges that the current data center hubs are facing. We look forward to working together with ColoHouse in further strengthening the national position of the Netherlands as a data and tech hub.”
Paul Bint, CEO of ColoHouse: “ColoHouse is proud to be joining The Dutch Data Center Association as the DDA emphasizes the importance of regional data centers. The recent developments in Amsterdam and the important role of the Netherlands as Europe’s most connected country has increased the demand for regional data center services. ColoHouse’s EU headquarters based in The Hague, paired with access to exclusive data centers throughout the country, specifically in Rotterdam and Amsterdam, creates the perfect opportunity to bring global business into the Netherlands. Our data center in The Hague has been through a full remodel and has excellent power efficiency. We look forward to working with the association to make the Netherlands known as Europe’s most up-and-coming tech hub.”
