Cookie Policy Updated

Colohouse Group, LLC and its affiliated companies (“Colohouse”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) are committed to respecting your privacy. All Colohouse websites, like www.Colohouse.com and other online services, such as our mobile apps use tracking technologies i.e., cookies, tags. They help our organization to gather information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. Where available, the “Cookies Preferences” link at the bottom of the page gives you more details about our use of cookies, and let you control which types of cookies the Colohouse website may set on your device. Please review this Cookie Notice for more information about what cookies and pixel tags are, what they do, and how you can opt out of, manage, or delete them.

WHAT ARE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

Some of our websites and Portals use cookies and other similar technologies. A cookie is a small data file that certain websites write to your hard drive when you visit them. Every time you go back to the same website, the browser retrieves and send this file to the website’s server. A cookie file can contain information, such as a user ID, that the site uses to track the pages that you have visited. The only personal data a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie cannot read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. Cookies are widely used in order to make websites function properly, as well as to provide business and marketing information to the owners of the site. For example, these allow us to distinguish you from other users, which helps us to provide you with a personalized experience when you browse our websites and Portals and allows us to improve our websites and Portals.

Certain types of cookies or cookie-like functionality may be placed or activated through browser add-ons, such as Adobe Flash. While these cookies are stored differently, their functionality and purpose are generally similar to other cookies.

Cookies are often used in conjunction with “pixel tags” (also known as “web beacons” or “clear gifs”). Pixel tags are small images that we, our analytics providers, advertisers, and other third parties can use to interact with cookies and other tracking technologies. For example, we use pixel tags to evaluate the effectiveness of our advertising and marketing campaigns by determining whether you open and interact with the content in our promotional emails.

We do not correlate any information that cookies permit us to collect with data about individual users, nor do we share this information or sell it to any third party.

We may also analyze information that does not contain personal data for trends and statistics.

HOW LONG ARE COOKIES STORED ON MY SYSTEM?

Session Cookies are used by the server to store information about user page activities. Cookies act as a sort of “bookmark” within the site. They can store information of your shopping cart and assist you in your ordering process. These cookies are stored for the duration of a browser session; when you close your browser, the cookie is deleted.

Persistent Cookies help websites remember your information and setting when you visit them in the future. A persistent cookie enables a website to remember you on subsequent visits, speeding up or enhancing your experience of the services or functions offered. These cookies are stored for a pre-set amount of time (often between 90 days and two years, depending on the application) and are typically not deleted when a browser session is closed.

Your choices may affect whether we use session or persistent cookies for a particular application. For example, ordinarily, our websites and Portals store sign-in status on a session cookie, and each time you start a new browser session you must log in again. However, if you select “Remember My Username,” your username is instead stored on a persistent cookie.

WHAT COOKIES DO WE USE, AND WHY?

Colohouse’s websites and Portals use three types of cookies:

Required cookies are mainly technical cookies. These are necessary to enable core features of the site you are visiting, such us providing secure log-in, balance website traffic, allowing images to load, or allowing you to select your cookie preferences and store your acceptance. Required cookies are essential for the website to function properly, and it is not possible to refuse these cookies.

Functional cookies. These cookies are used to provide a better customer experience and ease of use of our website, such as by remembering your log-in details, language preferences, optimizing video performance, or providing us information about how our site is used.  Additionally, such allow us to analyze anonymously data to gain insight into how visitors use the website so that we can make improvements to its usability. Acceptance of functional cookies allow us also to gather feedback on customer satisfaction through our website survey. We understand that not everyone likes data to be collected about them when it’s not strictly necessary, and so we’ll ask you to set your preferences.

Advertising Cookies are also optional. We allow third-party advertisers to place and/or activate cookies, pixel tags, and/or other tracking technologies. These services can later use it to build a profile of your interests based on the browsing information they collect from you, which includes uniquely identifying your browser and terminal equipment. This process helps us track the effectiveness of our marketing efforts and deliver advertising to you. These ad networks, in connection with cookies, pixel tags, and other tracking technologies: (i) help deliver online behavioral advertisements, either by us, our affiliates, or third parties; (ii) may prevent you from seeing the same advertisements too many times; and (iii) help us, our service providers, and/or our other partners (as further described below) understand the effectiveness of the advertisements that have been delivered to you.

Disabling or removing these cookies, resetting your advertising identifier, or opting out of online behavioral advertising altogether (as applicable) may result in advertising that is repetitive or less relevant to you.

Third-Party Functionality is beyond our scope of responsibility. We do not have access to or control over cookies or other features that third-party websites may use, and the information practices of those third-party websites are not covered by our Privacy Statement or this Cookie Notice.

For example, we provide social media buttons on our websites that allow users to visit or share web pages through third-party social media platforms. We do not control how those platforms collect information about you, nor whether or how they may track you or may activate their own cookies on your device.

For more information about how third parties collect and use information about your activities, please review their applicable Terms of Use, Cookie Notice, and/or Privacy Policies.

HOW DO I CONTROL OR MAKE CHOICES ABOUT COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

Where available the “cookie settings” can be managed by cookier banner displayed on our websites or via ‘cookie preferences’ you will find on the bottom of the site. In many cases you can also control tracking technologies using your browser. Different browsers offer different ways to configure your browser cookie settings. You can apply privacy settings based on your own privacy concerns. There are a number of ways to manage your cookies. You can clear cookies, prevent cookies, delete at your will and for different circumstances. If you use different computers in different locations, you will need to ensure that each browser is adjusted to suit your cookie preferences. The specific capabilities of your browser and instructions on how to use them can be usually found in the manual help file of your browser.

Additionally, you can generally disable or delete cookies placed and used by browser add-ons, such as Adobe Flash cookies, by changing the add-on settings or visiting the website of its provider. Information and controls that allow you to manage Adobe Flash cookies may be found here. Note that if you disable Adobe Flash cookies or similar technologies, you may not have access to certain features and services (such as consistent volume settings for videos) that make your online experience more efficient and/or enjoyable.

With respect to Google Analytics, Google has developed the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which can be downloaded here https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The add-on provides website users more choice on how their data is collected by Google Analytics.
